MOUNTCLIMB TRAVEL AND ADVENTURE will transport you to Pitec, the starting point of our trek, in comfortable buses. From here, we can see some majestic snow-covered peaks in the distance. We feel comforted as we gaze upon them while walking along lengthy ridge. Walking on this prolonged slope is tiring but nonetheless gratifying. At the end of this slope, the Churup outline peers at us as well as a rocky wall that shows us the way to the lake.
We are torn between continuing to contemplate these summits' beauty or arriving at the lake, located at 4,400m (14,520 ft.) high behind a rock wall. Our curiosity and yearning to see the lake make our ascent easier. We watch the emerald-colored water reflecting the majestic Churup glacial face as we are filled with joy and satisfaction. A natural vantage point welcomes us providing a spectacular view of this wonderful scene.
